2008 Pinot Grigio
Pinot Grigio is the wine that launched Terlato Family Vineyards. From its inaugural vintage in 2004, consumers and critics have been impressed with the wine’s fresh aromas, firm but round mouthfeel and lively acidity. This 2007 Pinot Grigio suggests that the revered Russian River Valley can produce Pinot Grigio every bit as glorious as its famous Pinot Noirs. The Pinot Grigio fruit comes from two vineyards in the Russian River Valley. The grapes were hand harvested and delivered to the winery in half-ton picking bins in the cooler mornings in order to maximize the grapes’ integrity. We are delighted to share with you this wonderful white wine that demonstrates substance and gracefulness.
2006 Chardonnay
This wine comes from Russian River Valley, universally recognized to be among the best Chardonnay producing regions in the world. The unique soil and climate found in Russian River Valley provides us with the perfect location for producing a world-class Chardonnay. The traditional winemaking techniques of barrel fermentation followed by sur lie aging were employed. These steps enhance the wine’s pure fruit characteristics of apple and pear with a pleasant richness and creamy texture.
