2009 Alderbrook Pinot Gris

Join us in welcoming Pinot Gris to our Alderbrook offerings!  This 2009 bottling is the first time for us to use our excellent Russian River Valley Pinot Grigio grapes to create a Pinot Gris.  Similar to Pinot Gris hailing from Alsace, our wine has very pretty aromatic tones reminiscent of flowers and apricots.  The wine was 100% barrel fermented in small oak barrels so that an enriching stroke of oak is woven through the wine.  With its pleasant weightiness and lush mouthfeel the 2009 Pinot Gris is a memorable and delicious wine.
