Alderbrook Winery is owned by the Terlato Family. This family also owns Rutherford Hill and Chimney Rock wineries in Napa Valley and Sanford Winery in Santa Barbara County. Among this respected family’s many accomplishments within the wine industry is the creation of a collection of fantastic wines bottled under their own label; Terlato Family Vineyards. The goal of Terlato Family Vineyards is to create extraordinary wines from California’s most esteemed appellations. Alderbrook Winery and its vineyards are situated in Sonoma County at the confluence of the Dry Creek and Russian River appellations. This makes Alderbrook the perfect place to headquarter the Sonoma Terlato Family Vineyard wines. Winemaker Bryan Parker and Vice President of Wine making Douglas Fletcher work together to create the Terlato Family Vineyards wines from Sonoma. Terlato Family Vineyards first offering was the 2004 Russian River Pinot Grigio. The Pinot Grigio is joined by Syrah, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to round out a wonderful group. Terlato Family Vineyards also offers a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District, three Bordeaux style blends known as the Peaks from Napa Valley, and GALAXY, a complex trilogy of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot.
